HOW TO BID: This year's auction is in two parts; a) PREMIER ITEMS and b) SHOPPING GALLERY.
If you are the opening bid for a) Premier Items, you must open at $250 and bid in minimum of $25 increments. Simply click on Click Here To Place Your Bid which you'll find under each item description and fill in the blanks. The deadline for bidding on Premier Items is Friday, October 31, 2008 at 9am (except for Howie Mandel Nite of Lite Laughter VIP which ends 10/09/08 at 9am).
For b) Shopping Gallery, you may e-mail mjstacy@cbs.com or call weekdays 9a-3p at 860-284-9132 to bid on interested items. Quantities are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Auction ends for each item as it is sold at the stated amount, or Friday, October 31, 2008 at 9am.
HOW TO PAY FOR & PICK UP YOUR ITEM(S): If you are selected as the high bidder for one of the items, you may pay in cash, cashiers/bank check, or money order. No personal checks or credit cards can be accepted. Bank/cashiers check or money order should be made payable to Hartford Hospital with "Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center" in Memo section.
When a WRCH representative contacts you to tell you that you were the high bidder, an appointment will be made to pay for and pick up your item. Items must be paid for and picked up at WRCH studios at 10 Executive Drive, Farmington, CT 06032. Directions may be found at www.wrch.com under "My Lite" click on Map & Directions.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES: 100% of your bid will go to our breast cancer charity: The Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center at Hartford Hospital. Nite of Lite Laughter has raised approximately $500,000 for research and treatment. Bid high and help fight breast cancer. Please consult your tax advisor for claiming your donation as a tax deductible donation.
