Phoebe:

PHOEBE is the life of the party during her Doggy Day Care playtimes. Phoebe is a two year old boxer/lab mix who is AWESOME with people and OH SO SWEET!  She'd do very well with laid back dogs and seems fine with the kennel cat-but we'd want to do a meeting should cats be in her future home. Rescued from a pound, Phoebe is up to date on shots and spayed. Six beautiful Black Love-Panthers:
What a rescue!  We've been hearing a lot about cat hoarding situations these days but it's not until you get directly involved in a hoarding case (and meet the helpless animal victims) that you understand how awful it really is.
 

Our Companions is currently involved in rescuing 14 cats living in neglectful conditions in a tiny apartment.  They were terribly infested with fleas for such a long time that they had skin infections from the repeated flea bites and must have suffered unbearably for all their lives up until the time we rescued them.  They are recovering nicely and their skin should be healed in just a couple more weeks.  There was not enough food for everyone, so the older, dominant cats got most of it so that the 3 younger
cats are emaciated and are gaining weight every day.   They were not
physically mistreated, so they remain loving and affectionate,  but they have all suffered terribly due to mental illness and drug use by their
caretakers.   We need help finding them homes!  Below is a listing of 6 of the black cats from this case- we call them our beautiful panthers.
 

Zack, 6 year old male, medium/large cat, very outgoing and friendly, loads of self confidence and extremely affectionate.  Loves to sit on laps and purr.  Will gaze into your eyes and smile. Always had indoor outdoor lifestyle and needs that in a potential home.  Father of the next three.

Midnight, 1.5 year old male, small/medium cat, thin right now, will gain weight with regular meals.  Sweet, thoughtful, friendly, polite, affectionate, not demanding but craves love. Lap cat.  Indoor only.

Kaz, 1.5 year old male, small/medium cat, thin right now, but gaining weight with regular meals, jumps in your lap as soon as you sit down and cuddles right up to your ear.  Very gentle, loving, craves physical affection with people.  Indoor only.

George, 1.5 year old male, small/medium cat, thin right now, but gaining weight, lovable, playful.  Loves the interactive toys and will carry toys in his mouth.  Always up for a game, would do great in an active household with children to play with. Lap cat.  Indoor only.

Skittles, 2 year old female, small/medium cat, shy but once she warms up to you is a totally love-bug. Indoor only.

Rainbow, 7 month old female, small cat, daughter of Skittles. She is a real gem and loves to play and snuggle on your lap.  Indoor only.
